Tea in Mamelodi – Webadvert

Imagine a situation where a potential Mandela or an Einstein is sitting in a classroom somewhere, with poor facilities, poorly trained teachers and zero means to access quality education. This is an ongoing tragedy in South Africa that urgently needs our attention.

There is hope in form of carefully managed scholarship programs – which have shown tremendous success in breaking the poverty cycle throughout the nation. For example, Francois Pienaar’s, Make a Difference Leadership Foundation has been successfully

operating for over a decade and has helped scores of hardworking learners not only get a good education, but also find meaningful employment.

This mini-documentary directed by Warren Mac Carthy, follows the story of Gadaffi Nkosi. It illustrates how a carefully managed bursary program can change lives!

Gadaffi is currently employed by a top South African law firm – the first in his family to follow this path – but certainly not the last.
